- Collect a banana sucker from a disease free mother plant.
- Cut the sucker into smaller chunks and wash using a 20% bleach solution and dip in 15% bleach solution for 30 minutes.
- Bring the sucker to the culture room.
- Clean the laminar flow using 20% bleached solution or 70% alcohol.
- Switch on the UV light of the laminar flow for 30 minutes.
- Prepare the materials and equipment like forceps, scalpel, alcohol, paper, cotton, waste trays, and others.
