Tourism is seasonal, so is the tour guide’s job. Many tourist destinations like Boracay receive very few tourists during the rainy season, which is the resort island’s lean season. even during peak season, like in the months of April and December, available guides outnumber the tours in the Philippines. Hence, to succeed, tour guides must prove that they can conduct good tours to get more bookings. A tour guide’s effectiveness could be measured through guest satisfaction, particularly when they feel heard, inspired,, and empowered to explore and experience new things. As in any industry, dedication in one’s profession contributes a lot to achieving success.
